- Step 1 – Contact Us or Email Your Request and Pictures
To initiate the process, please reach out to us via email at coordinator@eyelidcenterutah.com. Include information about what procedure you are considering along with the following photos: Front-facing with and without flash, right side profile, left side profile, right ¾ view, left ¾ view. All images are treated with utmost confidentiality and should be captured against a solid backdrop. - Step 2 – Virtual Consultation
Dr. Eftekhari will review your case to determine candidacy for the desired procedures. A virtual consultation will be arranged. Subsequently, our office will contact you to discuss pre-operative preparations, financial considerations, recovery expectations, accommodation options, and address any inquiries you may have regarding the procedure(s). - Step 3 – Scheduling and Planning Around Your Procedure
Upon confirmation of your decision to proceed, a deposit will be required to secure your surgery date. The remaining balance is due three weeks before your scheduled procedure. Out-of-town patients are advised to arrive in the vicinity at least 1 day prior to surgery to finalize the surgical plan. Depending on the procedure, patients typically stay in the area for 5-6 days, but that is not always strictly necessary.

Day of Surgery/Night Nurse Care
- On the eve of your surgery, our team will contact you to confirm the scheduled arrival time at the surgical facility.
- Patients may utilize ride-sharing services like Uber or Lyft for transportation to the facility. However, arrangements must be made for someone to accompany and assist them post-surgery for the initial 12-hour period, as per legal requirements.
- Upon completion of the surgery, the facility will notify designated contacts regarding the patient’s readiness for discharge and estimated pick-up time.
- Patients have the option to arrange for family members, friends, or third-party night nursing services, which can be coordinated with our patient care team in advance.
- Additional services such as private transportation can also be arranged through our office for added convenience.
Post-Operative Recovery
- In the days following your procedure, Dr. Eftekhari and his staff will provide comprehensive post-operative care.
- For those requiring assistance during recovery, our office can help arrange for nursing care at your place of stay.
- In the event of any post-operative concerns upon returning home, we will facilitate referrals to trusted local physicians for further evaluation and follow-up care.
